Customer support is virtually non-existant
I hate giving one star to a product but the reality is that if there’s no support, there’s no way to get value from it. I have no idea why Tapbots has stopped responding to support requests (hopefully it’s not everyone that’s having this experience.) My issue was pretty simple: the app wasn’t saving any of its settings and so kept opening with five empty columns. I contacted support, got no reply, contacted again, tried them on facebook, finally they asked for screenshots, I sent it, no response, e-mailed yet again after another week, no response. Eventually it became clear I wasn’t going to get support.
The app itself has some bad interaction design choices that make it harder to set up than is necessary, but that’s not the end of the world. They also seem to run into issues with tokens and network responsiveness, but, again, things one can live with. The total absence of credible support, though, makes this simply not worth buying. Hopefully this is a temporary problem inside the company and someone will get in there and fix it, until then, however, it’s a one-star app to me.
