Parfait mais cher !
Since the 1.2 version, theres no more retweet column... I think this is a request from Twitter company, but could you try to convince them that this column is just really useful? Thank you. Except this little inconvenient, thats a great app! Really expensive, but truly amazing.
Nothing more to say than the title.
Saying that Tweetbot is the best Twiiter client sounds almost like stupid since it is so obvious. Almost every Twitter features are well-integrated, except Vine’s video :)
Since updating to version 2.4.2, Tweetbot displays weird patterns of mostly purple and black pixels instead of most pictures and also frequently crashes on startup. This happens both on a MacBook Air with macOS Sierra and on a MacBook Pro with OS X El Capitan. I strongly recommend skipping this build and waiting for the next one. Other than that, this is and has been my absolute favorite Twitter client on both Mac and iPhone for the past few years. In other words, I would give a five-star rating for pretty much any other release. UPDATE: I contacted Tapbots Support because of this issue and was advised to delete ~/Library/Containers/com.tapbots.TweetbotMac/Data/Library/Caches/ and then restart Tweetbot. As far as I can tell, this does indeed fix both issues mentioned above.
I hate giving one star to a product but the reality is that if there’s no support, there’s no way to get value from it. I have no idea why Tapbots has stopped responding to support requests (hopefully it’s not everyone that’s having this experience.) My issue was pretty simple: the app wasn’t saving any of its settings and so kept opening with five empty columns. I contacted support, got no reply, contacted again, tried them on facebook, finally they asked for screenshots, I sent it, no response, e-mailed yet again after another week, no response. Eventually it became clear I wasn’t going to get support. The app itself has some bad interaction design choices that make it harder to set up than is necessary, but that’s not the end of the world. They also seem to run into issues with tokens and network responsiveness, but, again, things one can live with. The total absence of credible support, though, makes this simply not worth buying. Hopefully this is a temporary problem inside the company and someone will get in there and fix it, until then, however, it’s a one-star app to me.
Love the app but wish I could log into my bitly account without getting an “error logging in message”!
Love the UI. How can I view all notifications? (Not just mentions)
Purchased this app after being patient with Twitter and their official app for the Mac, and its bugs. Tweetbot came with rave reviews, but so far, Im not impressed. Actually, its in a similar vein as Apples own App Store app... doesnt feel very Mac-like at all. Fonts not standard, icons too "thin", the feeling is all wrong. Expected behavior just doesnt work. Mulitple clicks needed to do anything. If Tapbots is serious about making Tweetbot a better Mac app, they need to take a hard look at what makes an app great on Mac. Right now, it doesnt live up to those standards.
ver. 2.4.2にアップデートしたら、アイコンがグチャグチャになりましたが、 “rm -rf ~/Library/Containers/com.tapbots.TweetbotMac/Data/Library/Caches” を実行してキャッシュを削除したら、直りました。
A black menu bar causes a screen burn on the monitor. I ask you to change the menu bar to white.
I love Tweetbot because of support for muting hashtags and apps, but I hate that there’s no GIF search support. Also, it’s not as stable as official app.
Best app for twitter on Mac OS and iOS
Add night mode please)
My feed is a mess! All avatars are corrupted
Excelent app, the best twitter client. But, could you please add video controls when displaying video embedded in timeline: duration, start, stop, rewind bar, etc.. Thank you.
Long time TweetBot user here. For the last few updates I’ve had issues scrolling my feed. it will jump around incredibly fast in the middle of scrolling up. This is the only application on my computer that scrolls like this. If you also have this issue tweet to them and ask them nicely to look into it.
Cannot make all messages as read - it’s rather frustrating after double-clicking the button several times over.
Topics are not showing up on my Mac on 2.4. There is no topics option under the gear button. In general, topics feature seems incomplete. You are still limited to 140 characters. A better implementation would be to let the user type as much text as the want and let Tweetbot break up the text in 140 character chunks and add 1/10, 2/10, etc. Confusing feature.
I really like this app, but the both the OS X and iOS versions seemed to have introduced some annoying bugs that seem slow to be fixed. - The erratic scrolling in the iOS version is really bothersome, and it comes and goes so it’s difficut to capture. - Both versions seem to have a lot of difficulty playing video recently. The OS X version especially seems to beachball on each video play attempt.
