Only twitter client for mac worth your time. Best twitter app hands down.

Tweetbot for Mac is not a perfect applicaiton by any means but it certainly goes above and beyond any other 3rd party twitter application. I do recommend Tweetbot for Mac but with reservations. do know that if you get this application, you won’t be getting very good support and you’ll wait a while for new features. I can’t give it the full 5 stars because bugs I’ve reported have gone mostly unanswered. For example, if you block a user, you’ll still see their quoted tweets (if someone you follow quotes a tweet). I blocked that subhuman @realDonaldTrump a long time ago but unfortunately, all through the ridiculous election, i was still subjected to seeing his repulsive verbatum.

Its a great app. Lots of features and customization options. I like that you can have multiple columns. The main thing stopping me from using it, rather than the regular Twitter app, is theres no dark theme.

Tweetbot in all of its forms has become the center of my online experience. I’m not sure what that says about me, but it says a lot for the app. I stopped trying different Twitter clients because I always return to Tweetbot.

This app has some outstanding features; however if you use VOiceOver, APple’s screen reading technology, this app is not for you. There are numerous accessibility issues to include unlabeled buttons and checkboxes and many navigation challenges. I have reached out to the developers a couple of times without any response. I hope this will change and I’ll upgrade my rating and review.

I used to like it. Now I can’t even open it. There’s some sort of authentication issue, and neither Apple nor Tapbots seems interested in fixing it.

Much better than the twitter app/website, no ads/less clutter.

Happy to finally see that first item in the list of changes. The image order when viewing a tweet is still flipped, but I can live with that bug as it’s just visual; that being said, a fix would be much appreciated. — Irrelevant as of v2.4.6: — Another disappointing update as it seems they still haven’t fixed a rather annoying bug that has been around for nearly a year. What’s the point of a live-updating Twitter feed if you don’t get a dock notification badge for new tweets? Edit (v2.4.4): Its getting to the point where I believe they think this bug is a feature. It’s a small bug, yes, but it’s an inconvenient one. Having to hide the app instead of closing the window causes some minor confusion here and there and I either end up hiding another application on accident and thinking I closed the window and all of my work, or I close Tweetbot and end up with hundreds of new tweets to read after only a couple of hours. Keep updating the app fixing all of these other bugs, I will just keep reposting this one star review until this bug is fixed. I do enjoy this app as well as the iOS version, so it bothers me to leave a one star review, but short of spamming them I don’t know how else to get their attention. Edit (v2.4.5): Despite all of the people saying this review isn’t helpful, I stand by my statement and reasoning for leaving a 1 star rating on an app I use serveral times an hour throughout the day. I even have another annoying bug that seems to have been in the app for a while: when viewing a full tweet that has images, they are out of order. For example, I would expect 4 images to display as 1-2 on the top row, and 3-4 on the bottom row, but the rows are flipped (i.e. 3-4 on top, 1-2 on bottom).

but this update just made it impossible to be launched… please solve it asap!!!

Since you released this new version I cant open the app. Please fix it asap.

It was a great app until last update, stopped working completely on OS X Lion. Tried to contact customer support and didnt get an answer. Tried to restore previous version through Time Machine but it forces the upgrade. I cant use it anymore! Last option is to get refund, since its not a cheap app.

Tweetbot is a really great App!!! But Release 1.6 is not working for OSX 10.7.5

This used to be the best Twitter client available for Mac, but for whatever reason, the already pretty slow development seems to have stopped completely since July 2014. Either Tapbots are working on a new version (which probably won’t be a free upgrade anyway) or they simply lost interest in developing Tweetbot.

Have been using tweetbot on every platform it was available since it first shipped. Is just the best thing since sliced anything. Sometimes i wish they’d make a Windows App as well.

Awesome Twiiter client! The global tweet shortcut doesn’t work in the latest version though :( Still 5 stars!
